L’Aquila Saffron is a typical cultivar of the L’Aquila area and is agronomically and commercially distinct from that produced in other areas of Italy and in other countries of the world.

The characteristics of L’Aquila Saffron producted by the Antica Azienda Agricola Peltuinum are the length of the stigmas, the high content of safranal, which gives it its special aroma, the strong colouring effect and our care for select the product stocks.
